Click here to see a map of the districts.
What if my project or program goes beyond the calendar year?
Projects spanning beyond the calendar year are eligible for funding. However, the portion of the project funded by LCCC must land within the funded calendar year. Be sure to outline a clear timeline for use of LCCC-provided funds within your grant application.
Grant Awards
How much can I ask for?
Typical requests are between $500 and $2500.
If awarded a grant, will the full amount be funded?
LCCC may award partial grant funds up to the complete amount asked.
What is required to receive funds after awards are announced?
Grantees are required to complete and submit a grant agreement, W9, and Communications Partner Plan for the Oregon Cultural Trust in order to receive funds. Awardees are responsible for any tax liabilities connected to their award.
What is the timeline for funds being dispersed?
While we make every effort to disburse awards promptly, the exact timing is dependent on arrival of funds from the Trust. This can result in grant funds arriving as late as March. If you have questions or concerns about receiving your awarded funding, please contact laneculture@lanearts.org.
Is there a final report following my grant project?
Individuals and organizations receiving Cultural Opportunity Grants must complete a Report on Use of Cultural Opportunity Grant Funds form provided by the Cultural Coalition. Reports must be submitted within sixty (60) days of completion of the grant project or by December 31 of the award year, whichever comes first. All grantees are subject to audit by the Oregon Cultural Trust.
