Welcome to the Lane County Cultural Coalition!
Our vision is to create and support a vibrant cultural life through arts, heritage and humanities in Lane County. We are one of 45 county-based Cultural Coalitions that issue local grants from the Oregon Cultural Trust. The purpose of our grants is to stimulate grassroots efforts to expand arts, heritage and humanities programs in Lane County. The Oregon Cultural Trust is committed to supporting local cultural development and allows each coalition to shape its own cultural granting priorities.
The Lane County Cultural Coalition uses Oregon Cultural Trust funds to:
- Offer annual Cultural Opportunity Grants.
- Encourage cultural involvement.
- Provide Coalition membership information.

Cultural Opportunity Grants awarded!
This year the Coalition received 43 grant applications requesting a total of $58,000. Fifteen cultural projects were awarded a total of $26,897. Congratulations to our 2013 Cultural Opportunity Grant recipients!
New grant timeline means a 2nd round of Cultural Opportunity Grants in 2013!
To better fit the Oregon Cultural Trust timeline, the Lane County Cultural Coalition’s grant timeline will change. As a result, the Lane County Cultural Coalition will be accepting grant applications for a second time this year. The deadline for this second grant opportunity is October 15, 2013. Projects occurring in the 2014 calendar year will be eligible to apply. Check back for more details at the end of June.
